Mounting the Electronics

Top Plate to hold the Electronics

A top plate to mount all the electronics is cut from the same 3mm perspex. It has additional tabs for mounting the small front camera and the rear ultrasonic height sensor.

Rubber mounts are used to isolate the electronics (with sensors) from vibration.

Here is the electronics mounting plate on the rubbers

And the UAV electronics board and sensors mounted.

The 4 speed controllers are stacked 2 at the back and 2 at the front. The receiver will be mounted on the left

Radio RX and 4 speed controllers mounted. The speed controllers will be held down to the board with tie wraps.
